Blindsight Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Blindsight Surveys S.A.
platform (the "Service"). From here on Blindsight. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be
bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing accurate information when participating in paid surveys.
- You are responsible for using the Service in a lawful and ethical manner.
- You are responsible for continuously checking this page for updates as these terms might have
changed without notice.
2. Limitations
- Blindsight does not store any personal information for free survey participants.
- Blindsight does not store any payment information for paid survey participants.
- Blindsight uses secure payment processors to handle sensitive data like credit cards.
- Blindsight may use targeted ads based on survey demographics for free surveys, but this is done in
compliance with user privacy regulations and based on the set target demographic by the survey
creator.
3. Paid Surveys
- Participants in paid surveys will provide their basic details (name, address) directly to the
payment processor during payment selection.
- Blindsight will not store this data.
- Participants in paid surveys understand that their information goes to the payment processor,
not Blindsight.
4. Transparency
- Blindsight is transparent about how paid surveys work and what information participants provide.
- Blindsight's privacy policy clearly outlines its data handling practices.
- Blindsight's terms of service outline user responsibilities and limitations.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Service, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property
of Blindsight or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- You may not use any content on the Service for any commercial purpose without the express written
permission of Blindsight.
6. Dispute Resolution
Blindsight is committed to resolving disputes with users in a fair and efficient manner. Here are the
options available:
- Mediation: We encourage users to first attempt to resolve disputes through mediation. We can
provide a list of qualified mediators or users can choose their own.
- Arbitration (Optional): If mediation is unsuccessful, users may choose to resolve the
dispute through binding arbitration in accordance with the Costa Rican Arbitration Law (Ley No.
7253).
- Costa Rican Courts: Users can also choose to file a lawsuit in the courts of Costa Rica.
Regardless of the chosen method, the dispute will be governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
7. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica's legal
code, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
8. Entire Agreement
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Blindsight with respect to the Service
and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
9. Waiver and Severability
- No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both
parties.
- If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be
struck from these Terms and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
